Agra Red Fort
Agra which lies on the west bank of river Jamuna became one of the major cities of the Mughal Empire after the death of Ibrahim Lodi at Panipat in 1526. When Akbar choose Agra as his capital he laid the foundation of the Agra Fort. The construction was started in 1565 and was completed in about eight year. The fort contained over five hundred buildings but later on Akbar's descendants added new structures, mainly in marble to the fort and destroyed the old ones.

Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri is 37 kms from Agra is built a city mainly in Red Sandstone called Fatehpur Sikri. The Mughal Emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri. The city is a fine example of peak of Mughal architecture. Those who go to Agra must see the Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri mosque was said to be built in lines of the holy mosque in Mecca. Main door of the mosque is known as Buland Darwaza that is 54m high.

Akbar's Mausoleum, Sikandra
Mausoleum of Akbar is 4 kilometer from Agra. Akbar himself started construction of this beautiful monument. This structure has contained a perfect blending of Hindu, Christian , Islamic, Buddhist, Jain motifs.

Jama Masjid Or Jami Masjid
Jama Masjid Built by Shah Jahan in 1648, the main gate of this mosque has message written on it that it was built by Jahanara Begum. She was the favorite daughter of Shah Jahan and was imprisoned with him.

Chini-Ka-Rauza
A tomb of glazed tiles is a beautiful architecture of that period.

Dayal Bagh Temple
Dayal Bagh is 15-kms from Agra , also known as Soamibagh, houses the samadhi of the founder of Radha Swami faith, 'Swamiji Maharaj'. The main structure is a royal building, built of pure white marble.

Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb
This Itmad-Ud-Daulah's tomb was the first complete marble Moghul structure. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. Nur Jahan built this white marble tomb between 1622 and 1628. The inlay designs and carvings of Itmad-Ud-Daulah's tomb are no less than Taj. The delicate marble latticework in the passageway allows the light to enter the interiors. Nur Jahan for Jehangir in Lahore built a similar tomb.

Mariyam Tomb
The carvings on the tomb of Mariyam-us-Zamani are attraction giving a closer look.
This tomb is dedicated to the wife of Akbar. The tomb was in red sand stone in 1611 on the Delhi- Agra highway.
